Emirates Increases Dubai-Nairobi Flights

Emirates has expanded its service between Dubai and Nairobi. The airline now offers three daily flights, totaling 21 weekly services on the route. Aiming to offer more connectivity, this expanded schedule allows passengers to reach major United States gateways and key destinations in Europe more easily. Furthermore, the flights provide onward connections from Dubai to several European countries.

The arrival event was attended by top officials. Among them were Christophe Leloup, the UAE Ambassador to Kenya; H.E. Dr. Salim Ibrahim Bin Ahmed Mohammed Alnaqbi, the UAE Ambassador to Kenya; Teresia Mbaika, Principal Secretary of the State Department for Aviation & Aerospace Development under the Ministry of Roads and Transport; and Ambassador (Professor) Julius K. The airline has been flying to Nairobi since 1995. Over six million passengers have traveled to and from Kenya via the service. These flights connect the country to over 138 global destinations through Dubai.

The third daily flight provides more departure times for regional travel.

Kenya and the UAE signed an Economic Partnership Agreement earlier this year. This move is part of broader efforts to boost Kenya’s access to international markets. The three daily flights from Dubai, coupled with onward connections across Europe and North America, enhance this connectivity.

Tourists and business travelers can use this new schedule. EK717 departs Dubai at 01:20 and arrives in Nairobi at 05:25.
