National Geographic and G Adventures add 30 itineraries

National Geographic Expeditions and G Adventures announced the launch of 30 new itineraries, adding 24 new National Geographic Journeys and six refreshed National Geographic Family Journeys to their joint portfolio.

The new offerings aim to let travelers experience destinations through local people, stories and community connections, a hallmark of the long-standing partnership between the two operators.

Each journey incorporates the legacy of the organization’s science, exploration and storytelling, while aligning with G Adventures’ community-tourism mission that encourages meaningful interaction with residents.

Family trips will be led by two dedicated Expedition Leaders: one focuses on keeping children engaged through play and learning, and the other handles logistics and discovery for the whole group.

New program elements include a Junior Explorers Night, where kids spend an evening separate from, but near, their parents to meet peers, join guided activities and take part in a “Made Together Moment” craft such as jewelry making or ceramics.

Groups are limited to up to 22 participants, a size selected to encourage personal connections and easier access to local experiences.

Among the announced routes are Journeys to the Wildlife of the Galapagos Islands, Best of Northern Thailand, Iconic Christmas Markets, and Highlights of the Loire Valley & Bordeaux.

Family itineraries feature a Peru Family Journey to the Amazon & Machu Picchu and a Southeast Asia Family Journey covering Halong Bay and Angkor Wat.
